I must confess that I normally do, its her name that comes out of my mouth first when they are fighting etc..
..a couple of times recently they have got into a scrap in another room and I havent known who was lying and who was telling the truth...
yesterday there was a scuffle in the front room and I stood at the door and watched them fighting over a balloon...
Because DD2 couldnt get the balloon off of DD1 she stood back and shouted

" DONT YOU DARE HIT ME" and Id stood and watched and DD1 hadnt layed a finger on her, in fact it was DD2 who was clinging onto DD1 trying to get the balloon off her.
Had I not been standing there I would have went in saying Why are you hitting her bla bla bla and DD1 didnt do a thing other than manage to hold on to the baloon....

Keep your eyes open, try sneaking in and shes whos really doing what!

Thank you Charlie!
My brother used to do this to me and I used to get the blame for picking on my younger brother...I'm still annoyed about it now, 22 years+ on!

Thank you for that timely advice!

Oh that old chestnut eh? My older 3 do this all the time. I have grown wise to this now and they all get fair warning to stop and if I hear it carrying on then they will all go to their room for a cool down.

As they are getting much older now I tell them tyhey should be able to sort out their problems without me getting involved. So I give them chance to sort it out etc and threaten them if they can't, then I will!!! It usually stops them in their tracks!!!

See whos really doing what thats meant to say.
My little sister used to do it to me and I could never convince anyone that it really wasnt me.

Mine have learnt blaming each other now (and they're only 2.2 and 3.6!!) for things like draeing on the carpet etc..they don't seem to have learnt that they both get told off!! Actually, for things like that I tend to blame the younger, although not directly.
