real nappy walking problem?

I've noticed ds is starting turning left foot in as he walks around with shoes on. Asked hv who said if it didn't seem as bad without shoes not to worry, but if unduly concerned to go to gp. Then nursery pointed it out last week. Now I don't really believe this argument about reusable nappies causing this as there would be thousands of us all walking around oddly. But then on the other hand i don't want these nappies to be the cause of a physical problem/growing problem that i could have been prevented.

Dh had been talking to work colleague who said their ds had asimilar problem even with disposables, and they were referred to aconsultant who said that the hip bone/muscle at top of leg develops faster than the calf muscle/lower leg. Any thoughts o'wise nappy users.

absolutely nothing to do with nappies!

as you say... if it was the nappies then hundreds of us would have problems!

my initial thoughts are... take him to the GP!

You didn't mention how old DS is? I noticed when my son started walking properly he turned his foot in and then it went away, he started walking at 17 mths and is now 22 mths so work colleague is probably right. (DS wears Tots so quite a big bum)

Ds is almost 20 months and started walking at 13months. Think I'll probably go to gp just to set my mind at rest though.
