Is there anywhere I can get (disposable) swim nappies without paying 5 quid a packet?

why not use the washable trunks/swimcostumes? Babies very very rarely poo in water anyway.
Or does your local pool insist on the disposables?

ASDA used to do cheap ones, think they were only a couple of quid.

I've got a re-usable swim nappy - you can have it for £1.00! It's blue and size 24-40 lbs and has never been pooped in!! Email me at furball (at) link2me.co.uk if you want it.

Thanks for the replies - we have always used a disposable with a tight fitting reusable on top. We've had more than one poo incident in the past when swimming, so I'm a bit reluctant to change from that. But I hate paying for Huggies!

how old is your child cacaboo? I think I have soem small ones leftover that you can have?

cacaboo · 14/11/2005 13:42

Thanks for the offer mckenzie - but DS is 21 months so squarely into size large nowadays.

It sounds like I need to look a bit more closely next time we take a drive out to one of the big supermarkets, hopefully there will be some own brand stuff there.

Try washing the disp nappy. They wash really well and if your little one doesn't poo, then you can get at least 10 wears out of it before it gets a bit too tatty.

Boots' ones are a bit cheaper. I've washed them, like PotPouri suggests, too.
