How old is too old for a high chair?

We're going on holiday soon with our dd who is nearly 2. She's been out of her high chair and in a booster seat at mealtimes for a while now. She's not a bad eater when 'strapped in' but no way will she sit on a normal chair for more than a couple of minutes if not. Do we take the booster seat on holiday or put her in high chairs when we eat out?

I still use a booster seat for DD who is 2.8. She needs to be in 'lockdown' when it's meal time.

I always take it when we go away, some tables are too high otherwise. My dining table is too high for her if she sits on one of the normal chairs.

i'd use a highchair

Given a choice, dd2 who is 4.5 and quite tall will still use a booster seat. It means she can eat properly at the table. We are taking a highchair on holiday for ds2 who is almost 2 and will use a highchair when we are out.

We'll just pop her back in high chairs then. Thanks for the replies x
