Flushable nappy liners - where best to buy?

DC2 is due in less than a week and I am just trying to sort out his / her reusable nappies. DD was in reusables from 2 weeks old until potty-training (which we'll reuse for DC2), but I can't remember:

Whether you need to use liners with newborn poo?

Where the cheapest place is to buy them? I've done quite a bit of googling but it all gets really expensive, especially when you add on postage / deliver costs. I don't really mind about brand as long as they aren't too scratchy and are as cheap as possible!

Where to get some which aren't massive - I seem to remember doing all sorts of annoying origami to fit the liners in baby-sized reusables.

Any help gratefully received!

Meconium will ruin nappies, so yes to liners. Check out ebay or thenappylady.co.uk. Or you could buy some washable liners from either source, or just cut up something like an old towel or dressing gown.

Oh yes, eBay, don't know why I didn't think of looking there (I use it for loads of other things). Will take a look - thanks for your reply.

I am planning on having the new baby in disposables for the meconium phase and then going onto almost full-time reusables. But will still sort myself out with some liners I think.

tots bots liners are a good size for newborn nappies, not too wide or long and they come on a roll and are really soft too, I get mine at www.plushpants.co.uk but lots of places sell them
