Shoes for a non-independent walker?

Hi.

DD is nearly 12 months and loves to walk everywhere holding onto my hands - she does not walk on her own. As she is barefoot I am a bit restricted as to where I can take her. I would love to take her walking around the local park but there is broken glass etc.

I know that pre "proper" walking she should be barefoot/ in very thin soft shoes, and that you should wait until she has been walking independently for 6 (?) weeks before getting proper shoes.

So is there anything I could get her so she can walk in the park. I could just pop down to Asda and buy her a pair of trainers but I really, really don't want to mess up her feet in any way.

i would go for cruisers, or you can get the leather soft shoes but cruisers will be better for using a lot outside
