Breastfeeding pillows

My 3-week-old baby has been steadily putting on weight almost 8lb now and I think I could use some support when breastfeeding. Night feeds, especially, are getting increasingly uncomfortable. I have tried a variety of normal pillows, but they're not really doing the trick.

Which pillows would you recommend? I'm considering:

The widgey www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0013ITJRS/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

The Dreamgenii pillow and baby nest www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00413XFX6/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A2QAB9E8I7BH48

The Dreamgenii pillow with back support www.johnlewis.com/230519017/Product.aspx?SearchTerm=Breastfeeding+pillow

But am open to other suggestions as long as I can order online! Cheers!

Congratulations and well done.

I just use a normal pillow. Save your money!

Hi Edaluna, I had terrible trouble with back pain while bf and tried pretty much every pillow on the market. The only one that worked for me was the "my brest friend" pillow. It has a corny name but is a brilliant product. Can't link as I'm on iPhone but if you type it into amazon you'll find it. Not cheap either but there's usually a few going on eBay. It straps round your middle like a shelf and the baby lies on it. It did me until DD decided she didn't want to bf any more at 9 months.

My pillow was recommended on MN www.thrupennybits.co.uk/

It was the most comfy pillow I tried and supported DS during feeding until he was as big as a 1 year old. The widgy pillow seemed to have a gap near my tummy where ds could drop into when he was tiny, because the curve of the pillow was too rounded and didn't last very long as both my sons have been tall babies. The Thrupenny bits one had a more gradual curve that literally molded to me, so there was no gap and DS fed happily. I'd totally recommend it.

Ooh yes "My Brest Friend" is absolutely fantastic. Cannot recommend it highly enough. I loved it.

I use an ordinary v shaped pillow, does the same job at a third of the price.

I'm not sure whether this is allowed but I have a Thrupenny Pillow I bought for my 8 month old I no longer need...this one

You can use it as a bag too afterwards. It really helped me in the early months. Willing to sell it for half price.
