I mean he has taken them to the shops or somewhere like that before but today he has actually taken them to the museum.

Dd1 had wanted to go for ages as she has been doing about acient egypt at school and we knew there was an exibition there.

I am sooooo pleased. I have done piles of ironing, sorted the dd's wardrobe out and done several loads of washing and Ds has helped

They've been gone ages so they must be enjoying themselves.

I was going to say how nice it is to have the house to yourself until I realised ds hadstayed home.

My dh took our two out for hours this morning (after bit of a row re this last night lol).
They went to the livestock market and checked out the goats and sheep.Prety wild place!
God it was good to just be on my own and have time to think.

both the males in my life are at a book fair! (ds is only 15 months, but you're never too young to start)
I had to have a tantrum and throw them out a bit early, as dp wanted a long leisurely french-style lunch 1st, aaargh! I made him wolf down a sandwich and sent them packing!

DH was supposed to be taking both DDs to his friend's house this afternoon, as he has 2 of a similar age. But men being men, in my experience, they left it too late to sort out propwrly. So they have gone to the garden centre, though they have been gone for 2 hours so I hitnk somewjere else too!

I have relaxed on the sofa and read the rest of my book (Hidden Lives) in peace. Thi sis the frits time in ages that I haven't had house stuff to do, so noice!

And so quiet!
