large pocket nappy?

Can anybody recommend a pocket nappy that will suit a chunky 2.4 yr ols?\

I have the Mothercare Smart nappy system but have noticed the insert keeps getting bunched up - I think the insert may have shrunk. I still want to put the inserts to good use though so was thinking a pocket nappy may be the answer.
I've had medium Fuzzi bunz (sp) but they stopped fitting a long long time ago!

My 2.1 year old has the old style Wonderoos and the are pretty roomy. The newer Wonderoos are smaller fitting but you can still get the older Wonderoos on some online stores.

In fact, if you go here softbots.co.uk/products/Wonderoos-V1-one-size-pocket.html they are selling them cheap though without the inserts but you could just use yours.

Pop'n'Gros size 2 are very large - larger than Bumgenius, Wonderoos, Fuzzi Onesize, etc etc.

Some people may have some, but Lollipop isn't trading until April 15th.

Thanks - off to investigate these suggestions!

I've seen a few pocket nappies from China and Hong on Ebay, has anybody got any experinece of these, hard to know how they will fit?

I've had some of those and they are basically the same as the Coolababy ones. Not generous in size really. They are ok, but mine have lasted about 10 months and are now delaminated and don't work anymore so a false economy TBH.

I still use a pocket nappy on DD1 at night. I would prefer to use a 2 parter but she will not entertain that idea so I need a pocket that I can stuff a lot as she power wees in the early hours.
A wonderoo (original) works like pp mentioned.
A Magic All Baby Beehind All in one Minky - size large also works - don't see many of them around but I did pick up a couple preloved and I've found 2 UK sites that have them new. Can link if you want. It is an all in one but with a very spacious pocket as well.
DD1 is 3 BTW.
Have never tried ebay cheapies or coolababy either.

Another vote for the wonderoo v1. Use them on my 2 year old. Have a v2 as well which is ok, is trimmer but the insert is more absorbant.

I've tried a lot of pockets to try and find something slimmer but very absorbant for my little chunk. He is 95%+ on height and weight. It needs to be high in the rise, a good fit round the legs and not too slim in the crotch.

Depending on the size of your wee one, especially on the rise, other good ones are: greenkids with the bamboo inserts (these are a little short in the rise for my DS but ok), Tots easyfits with extra booster in and the new Smartipants, again with extra boosting.

I think that, unless you have a light to medium widdler, half the battle with pockets is finding something which fits right and the other half is making sure you have the right insert & booster combo. If the mothercare smart inserts work well for you is also worth looking at the Flip nappy from BumGenius. Is not a pocket, but you could place the insert inside like a prefold.

Thanks for the recent suggestions. I toyed (momentarily!) with just going to disposables as don't really want to be investing in more nappies but we've got this far with cloth I want to continue. Dd is on 91st on weight, has been from birth.

a large fuzzi bunz is large as is wonderoo i agree, i loved these for over stuffing on a night as well as Greenkids which are also large. I found bumgenius small in comparison.
