Big shiny inflatable beach balls. As many as they want. Long hair. Any craft/making materials their hearts desire.

Sweets. I put on 2 stones the minute I was let loose

I also wasn't allowed milk if I was at my gran's as milk was for tea, so when I am a grandmother my grandchildren can have as much milk as they want

Permission not to be 'good' all the time. Both parents home for dinner and fully involved with their lives.

That, and an absolutely enormous dressing up box!

BlueberryPancake · 17/03/2011 13:03

A scalectix. I always wanted one when I was little but we were three girls and it was not very 'suitable' I have two boys and they will have a very big scalectix. I'd get it for them even if they were girls!

MrsChemist · 17/03/2011 13:13

Oh my God! This toy car is worth more than my normal car!

DS isn't getting that.

Bunk beds

A guinea pig

Snakes in the house, if he wants

On of those soft-bodied dolls.

I had a tiny-tears when I was about 5 but when the soft-bodied dolls came out, I was never allowed one. Mum finally relented, very bizarrely though because I'd just turned 12!!! Confused

Fashionable clothes and shoes.

A good education (private if I can possibly afford it).
