Any deals on Tots Bots Bamboozles out there?

Hi there,

I think I'd like to buy a birth to potty set of Tots Bots Bamboozles Stretch (but not the set with 1 size nappies- I'd like size 1 and size 2 and maybe 15 of each.)

Does anyone know the cheapest way to buy these?

Thanks.

Not exactly what you are after but www.cleangreennappy.co.uk/kits/multipacks/TB-ZSb2p - maybe worth a look on ebay or similar too?

Cumbrianlass2 · 10/03/2011 23:08

^^ forgot to say, they price match and have a free accessory kit included too.

Ooop no, check out amazon. 1 pack left and £190.

Thanks very much cumbrianlass2. Unfortunately they're the one size ones, but a good deal. I've found them sold on e-bay in 5's, which still looks like the cheapest so far. Thanks though.

If you are not in a tearing hurry and are happy to accept slight seconds then keep an eye on ebay at [http://shop.ebay.co.uk/bargainbots/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25] - this is totsbots themselves selling off seconds. they are all usable nappies and covered by their usual 6 month guarantee

BubbaShrimpy · 12/03/2011 15:57

Oh thanks very much for that. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what is a slight second? I.e is it a second hand nappy, or just a nappy with a monor flaw? Have you used these nappies by the way cumbrianlass2? I have 2 children who have worked their way through the old tots bots bamboozles, and they are past using again for my 3rd baby arriving in aug, so I was going to upgrade!

the old style bamboozles were sized 1 and 2 and now the new bamboozle stretch are sized also however the size 2 has poppers on the front so can be adjusted making them a birth to potty option.
Were your other babies a fair size at birth? If they were 8lb or so I would skip the size 1s and just get some of the size 2s and save yourself some money.

this site has them at £9.95 so 15 would work out as £149.25 with free postage.

Have a look at the listings, it gives details of all the kinds of things it could be - mainly cosmetic, wonky stiching etc. they wont tell you what it is though, just a summary of what it could be. the fact they are still covered by their 6 months guarantee is a good indication.

I do have a couple and they are great nappies. I mainly use pockets rather than 2 parters but for a newborn / smaller baby then I think the strechy bamboozle is one of the best out there unless you want to go WAHM made and pretty! They are much nicer than the older bamboozle imo and the strech bit really does work. Would second what PP said about size 1 and size 2. If you dont mind bulk and baby is likely to be a chub then would go size 2s.

If you want some tempting patterns then look at the teenyfits!

This site frequently have nearly new ones on sale, they have the size 1s now for just £4. IMHO the old style ones are better than the new ones and seem more robust. However as SMac as said, the new ones fit younger babies.

HTH!

Pingpong · 13/03/2011 22:40

robust ! Yes that is a good description of the old ones! I am selling mine on as I don't tumble and although I like them they are a bit crunchy and have no give in them. The stretchies are so soft even if you never tumble and they just have well for want of a better word a bit of stretch. My DD is a whopper so I didn't feel that size 2 originals were going to last to potty training but I think the stretchies might. Smile
