I hate poetrySad I can't get across what I am trying to, and my tma is due in a couple of days (already had an extension)

Are there any poetry fans who would give it a read, and give constructive criticism?

Ooh what course are you doing? I'm doing maths so no idea about creative writing at this level, but I do love poetry so I'll happily give it a read!

Aww, thanks HeartSmile

Will pm you. It is a poem about ageing, for my OU Creative Writing course. I sometimes think I wish I had chosen maths - a much more 'right and wrong answer' kind of course. But, as it took me 4 attempts to pass my maths GCSE, I guess it isnt really my strongpointGrin

Bump for you in case there's any experts about :)

What's the actual brief/assignment BTW? Do you have free choice of structure, rhyme scheme etc?

Are you doing the level 2 creative writing course or the level 3? Have you posted it online for your tutor group to give feedback? Ifound this very helpful when I was doing mine. Bit harder for people on here to give feedback, because they don't know the rubric of the TMA. However, I am happy to have a look at it if you think that will help - although I never did the level 2 course, only the level 3. BTW, I was dead scared of the poetry TMA and ended up getting the best mark of all my TMAs on it. So don't despair!
