Can I take toddler DC to pre-school parents' evening?

DD has a "parent evening" at her pre-school next week. I would quite like DH to come, as he has never seen the place plus think it would be nice if we could both go. We don't really have local babysitters - my mum or brother would probably do it, but would mean a 40 minute round trip to sit in our house for about 15 minutes so doesn't really seem worth it. Otherwise we could go early doors with DD as well (or slightly later with her asleep in the buggy) but not sure whether this is acceptable/mental. Any advice, please?

Most pre-schools wouldn't mind if you took her. As you say, it will be a good opportunity for your DH to see the place.

Yes absolutely.

Absolutely ok, I can't imagine it's anything that formal - I didn't even know that they did them for pre-schools! I've always taken my kids to parents evenings, primary and secondary school.

I'd take her - especially if she'd sit happily in a buggy.

Awesome, thanks Grin

I'd take her when asleep in buggy as you probably wouldn't want your DD to hear herself being discussed. (I knowI wouldn't want my DD eavesdropping on any discussion about her)

Yes - I always end up taking our kids cos it always works out we cannot get childcare for that 30 mins. They play whilst we chat.
