Which month to concieve?

okay my maths a bit shaky, if i want a september baby do i try and get pregnant in Dec or Jan?

I think you need to conceive mid December at the earliest, if you had your last period at the start of the month. That would take you to the very start of September but just to avoid baby coming early and being the youngest in the year (I presume that is your concern?) I would wait till start January.

thanks yep wanted to avoid little un being the youngest and cos we have LOADs oaf family bdays in august , selfish i know but just being practical

My DS was born on his due date of 29/09 and the first day of my last period was 24/12 so I think you would need to conceive after your December period for a September baby!

My 3 boys were all born mid September. LMP for the first was 27/11 (he was 11 days late), middle one conceived between Xmas and New Year and the youngest LMP was 7/12 and he was a week late. HTH

Mine weren't intentional either, in that each child took months and months to conceive... I just wanted a spring baby
