All in one nappies.

Hi everyone. I have a 7 month old DS and we are happily using reusable nappies. We seem to get along fine with just about anything TBH (I bought quite a selection of sz 1's for experimentation purposes) - no real leak issues etc.

DS is due to start nursery next month so I am considering whether to buy some all in one nappies but have no experience of these so I am looking for any advice/recommendations/thoughts criticisms of all-in-one's that you are familiar with.

Thanks for any comments.

We quite like Tots Bots Easy Fits Smile.

Would suggest getting a wet bag for the nappies which makes transport much easier.

AIO are certainly very user friendly but they can take a bit longer to dry compared to pockets which generally dry pretty fast.
I have recently discovered bambootys which are all in ones but are sized. The sizes are on the small size though so if your baby is near the size limit then go up - cheeks and cherries have them. (3 for 2 I think)
I also quite like totsbots easyfits v2 they are also slim.
Baba me had a big promo on for their 5th birthday and had lots of BGv3 on sale heavily discounted and they seem to be pretty foolproof for nursery/non cloth users.
BG also do a sized all in one which is being discontinued - they are keeping the XS as a newborn nappy but ditching the other sizes and they are all priced at £5.55 which is a brilliant price for a good brand of nappy.
The down side is that with a sized one you will need to buy more at some point but my 11m DD is in a large so I got a couple of them.
You can get All in twos like close parent Pop Ins but I find the poo just gets stuck between all the layers. I prefer a genuine all in one or a pocket nappy for easy removal of poo. Even with a liner it seems to get everywhere!

Thank you - I liked the look of the Easy Fits and the fact that they are one size so it is good that you both liked them. My DS is quite slim so it is good to know that they are not too bulky. Some that I had never heard of there Smac so I shall investigate. DS has just moved to formula and poo's are a whole new experience these days so easy removal is now critical Grin

I'd favour a pocket nappy over an all in one personally. They are just like an all in one to use, and pretty much the same as a disposable if you have velcro, so they are very childcare friendly, but because they come apart they dry a lot quicker and, if you need to when your DC is older, you can add extra layers to boost absorbancy.

We like Bumgenius (I have version three, version four is the current one).

i like the tots bots easyfit bt my favorite AIOs are the bitti d'lish snap in ones which are great absorb well, fit perfectly and nursery love them

I use Easyfits V2s for nursery. Boosted with a little lamb bamboo booster, they are bombproof. I find them pretty quick drying as well. I hang them in my boiler cupboard and they pretty much dry overnight.

Thank you everyone. I have ordered a couple of easyfits and one of a few others (Bumgenious v3 and the BG sized bargains in medium and large from baba me - thank you for the recomendation - and the d'lish) to experiement with! Nursery is providing a wet bag for £2.50 (bargain) which they assure me is bomb proof so so far I am very pleased at spending much less then I had expected! I will add a couple more nappies once I have experimented so that I can get through two days of nursery before needing to do a wash or provide separates.
