  2. utter inability to organise self beyond basics ( or rather erratic - sometimes is quite good)
  3. thoughtlessness " do shcool let you use pencil? have they ever?" him " no" me " well why the hell are you using it now")
  4. the inability to remember lesosns learned , WHY WOULD YOU THEN use pencil again?

Thank you so much for the laughs, I feel so much better not to be alone in this! Mine is in y 7 and I am tearing my hair out. Tutor phones me today - apparently he immersed his head under the tap during a Chemistry lesson and then tried to electrocute himself by dripping (deliberately) onto the electrical socket. Aaaarrrrgh!

and don't get me started on the hopeless disorganisation. The thing is that I am being dragged into the school for meetings with his tutor / head of house to discuss his ineptitude at remembering things, and it feels like MY FAULT!!!! It's like being at school all over again, only this time I'm one of the naughty ones (was a bit of a swat myself!)

Aaargh I despair. I'm also fed up of shouting.Angry nagging. carping. I sound like my mother. :-)

I googled for some advice on dealing with my litlte gem & having read all your comments my stress levels have reduced somewhat.... basically they're all the same :-( !!!! god help us all !!! I'm am however quite worried about his behaviour, he keeps acting very cagey & I'm driving myself crazy wondering what he's up too!!! suspicions aren't totally unfounded since starting high school we've had money go missing, setting things on fire in bedroom, carving's on kitchen cupboards & drawers - (all have been dealt with & haven't been a regular occurance) just can't fathom his cagey behaviour.... anyone else have this??? thanks
