6.30 a realistic bedtime?

Trying to get my 2 year old to drop her nap but she's usually very tired by 5 if she doesn't nap so I'm thinking of changing her routine to dinner at 5 bath and bed by 6.30, is that a realistic bedtime for a nearly 3 year old?

Thanks in advance for any help.

My DS (15months) is generally asleep by 7, but sometimes it's 6.30 if he's extra tired. We do 5pm dinner (sloooow), 6pm playtime, 6.30 bathtime, 7pm bed. We have such a rigid routine (in terms of what we do) that he always goes down without a fuss. He does still need a BF though, but that's another story...

2 DS's, 5 & 3, both in bed by 6.30- asleep 7 ish usually. They are up 6.30 ish whatever time they go to bed & both love their sleep

My 20th month old goes to bed at 8pm-8.30pm.

That seems early to me but I lot of my friens with LO have their DC in bed by 6.30pm.

i think she'll be fine. DD (2) usually naps for 2hrs in the afternoon, goes to bed at 7 & is awake at 7am. If she misses her nap, then I aim to get her into bed by 6-630.

What time is her nap? DD was taking an hour or so to get to sleep so at Xmas I moved her nap from 1:30 back to 12:45 & she's asleep almost straight away now Grin

My DS didn't nap past 2yo. When he dropped his nap we moved his bedtime forward by 30 mins to 6.30pm. Some friends teased us about getting him to bed so early but he goes straight to sleep (most nights) and wake between 7 and half past still (now aged 4).

6.30 works perfectly for us and guarantees 12 hours of sleep since dcs were small now 4 and 5
