Need advice about full time study

I am really hoping people might be able to help to give some general advice about being a full time uni student.

I am supposed to be starting a full time course in September. Here is a general overview of circs. We have 2 DC (youngest will be just turned 1), currently DH works full time on a fairly low income and I may be able to return to my part time night job (not sure yet). We are entitled to housing benefit, council tax benefit and tax credits. I completed a college BTEC last year and was entitled to these benefits but didn't get any loans/grants so don't know if it'll be different for uni where I should be entitled to both.

Are we likely to keep receiving these benefits when I start my course?

Will I be entitled to help with chilldcare and who usually is the awarding body for this? ie Is it government run, uni based etc

I need to get organised and figure this stuff out but I find it quite daunting when I have no idea about any of it. If anyone knows anything, is in a similar position or has general advice I would really appreciate it!

Hi.

Approach yor univeristy help desk and thy will be ale to advise.

As a ull time student you can apply for student loan (check out direct.gov.uk) and his can incldue a maintenance allowance to. You would prob ontinuereceivingyour benefits too as our income hasnt changed, unless you go back to yur job n whch case it migh decrease.

Chldcare payments may be coveredby tax creds.
