What does your three year old watch on telly?

Ours watches DVDs not telly and is addicted to Peppa Pig. She used to be addicted to Humf which I liked - the stories are very sweet and about discovering the world. Peppa is a bit trickier because some of the stories are about personal relationships and my dd has discovered new phrases from it such as "I won't play with you any more" and "it's not fair" said with horrible bratty obstinacy. Lots of the other stories are sweet though. But I'd like to broaden her horizons a bit.
We've been a bit facist baout telly - 4pm for half an hour only. Would quite a little menu like we had as kids when there was only terrestrial telly.

Anyway interested to know what yours like and whether you like it too.

most cbeebies stuff
charlie and lola, grandpa in my pocket, something special. it's aimed at younger children, but she also loves Driver Dan's Story train, especially acting out "show me the story"

she did also once watch half an episode of Father Ted, which I'd left in the DVD player by mistake, and has been mithering for more "funny vicars playing football", but I have said No Blush.

Fireman Sam
Chuggington
Bit more Fireman Sam
Mister Maker
Zingzillas
Some more Fireman Sam

Grin

He has about 20-30 minutes after lunch then another 10 minutes after tea, all in the form of episodes of FS or Chuggington.

Weekends a bit more hence the Mister Maker and Zingzillas.

DD (4) and DS (2) only watch DVDs either.. (we live abroad so no good children's tv)

They like:

Peppa Pig
Postman Pat
Fireman Sam
THe Tweenies
The Little Red Tractor
Sunny and Jim Jam

and, at the moment, BARNEY!!!

Personally I think they don't really get anything out of the Disney movies at this age. A lot of it just floats over their heads.
I prefer anything that has lots of music and dance because they get up and dance and it's not just a veg experience. Like you, I only allow about 45 mins to an hour a day and it's fine. I'm worried about when they discover TV on a loop too!

Sesame street is a firm favourite in this household. We have a couple of DVDs, but tend to watch the on-demand video clips on the sesame street website, which is utterly brilliant by the way.
