What are those Y-shaped scooters called?!

You know those scooters with a Y-shaped platform to stand on, the ones that move by the rider wiggling? What are they called?! I'm thinking of getting one for DD for her birthday but unsurprisingly nothing comes up I Google "wiggly scooter thingy" :)

I've found a few brand names but I wondered if there was a generic name for them, so I can Google which one is cheapest best.

Thanks!

I think Tri-Scooter is the generic term.

Snake boards or rip board scooters are the wiggly ones with one foot in front if the other.

The ones where you make scissor motions and have to separate platforms are vtriker or vtrikes.

I'll try and do a link later if you still can't find them

Ours was called an 'unscooter' link here

Aha, I've just realised that I may be thinking wrongly about these. I thought there was one which has separate platforms for each foot and you move it by wiggling your hips back and forth (ie. keeping your feet still), not by making scissor movements with your legs. Am I wrong in that?

Right, got it! It's a Powerwing!

Does anybody know which is easier to use - the 'wiggle your body side to side' ones, or the 'scissor movements with your legs' ones? I wold've thoughht that the 'wiggle your body' ones are less tiring, and won't make little legs worn out? My DD will be 8 but she's not very physically-confident and can't ride a bike yet.

Do you mean a Flicker scooter?
DD1, age 8.5, got one for Xmas. She manages it well, and is enjoying it. The wiggle movement isn't too tiring. She is not very athletic either, only mastered her bike last summer, after her 8th bday.

My daughter wants one of these - anyone know which is best and cheapest place to buy?
