Any one used microfibre nappies like the Fluffles/Little Lamb

I know the Tots Bots Fluffles are discontinued now and many might not like the man-made aspect of these nappies, or the fact that they give your baby a huge bum... but I think they look adorable! I just want to squidge them!

Does anyone know if the Little Lamb version is just as fluffy? I've heard they dry super-quick too...

I used Tots Bots fluffles - they were lovely and stayed so white and fluffy.

I would be happy to sell them if you are interested Grin

I have a Little Lambs microfibre - it's lovely and soft, even after nearly 2 years of use. It's also white and fluffy still and dries so quickly.

Not the most absorbant but it can be boosted. They are quite bulky but lovely - I plan on getting some size 1s for the new baby in a couple of months!

They feel horrible if you have rough or dry hands, set my teeth on edge [yuck] but do look cute.

I've long swapped mine though, I didn't rate them much for absorbancy, too bulky and funny popper location.

PorkChop- do you mean all microfibre in general- or a particular brand? My DH gets that weird feeling with the microfibre A-cloths.

Thanks for the offer ToffeeMum- trying to source a few new otherwise will give you a shout!

Good luck with new baby KirstyJC. Do the LL come with a pocket to insert a booster? And how long did you find the size 1 lasted for?

I only had fluffles but yes, it's the same sensation as with those cleaning cloths.

I had some microfibre LL they were very soft and fluffy but not very absorbant. I didn't try boosting them with bamboo but probably should have. The LL size 1 goes up to 20lb I think but my DD was outpeeing them before that so sold them on.

FetchezLaVache · 07/01/2011 14:15

I had the microfibre LL too, they were very soft and very quick to dry. Not all that absorbent, but boostable. I stopped using them as I didn't like how bulky they are, but it sounds like that could work in their favour if you like a huge squidgable bum on a baby!

GoldenGreen · 07/01/2011 14:22

I tried a fluffle with ds and it was just too bulky but tried LL microfibre with dd this time around and they are bulky but too bad. They are very snuggly!

I preferred the bamboo for absorbency though tbh. (I actually have one bamboo and one microfibre in size 1 to sell - only used a few times - PM me if you like!)

I haven't used size 1s before sa DS2 was 5 months when I switched to cloth so he went straight to size 2s.

They don't have a pocket, but there is a booster with them which is sewn onto the size 2s, but I think is separate with the size 1s to reduce bulk. I expect you might be better using a bamboo booster instead though - that's what I'm likely to do I think as they really aren't super absorbant.

You could try buying one to test and see how you get on?

Lollipop Softees - big, soft, fluffy, squidgt, very absorbent. Highly recommend.

ziggyf · 07/01/2011 20:06

I agree with nappyshedsal - softees are the most gorgeous squishy nappies, especially on little babies Grin

I used fluffles with my first and had no problem with the feel of the microfibre. To me it feels very different to the microfibre cloths that make my teeth itch when I touch them with even slightly dry hands
