Twinkle have none in stock and dd keeps getting nappy rash..... have had her out of cloth for weeks at a time in an attempt to clear it up, but it always seems to flare up (even in bloody disposables).
Hoping that silver liners may be my answer but can't seem to find any......anyone seen any in stock (or got any they want to sell)

Have you tried washing at nappy changes in a strong infusion of camomile and honey tea? That worked for us. Also, you can soak fleece wipes or cotton wool in the tea and leave them in the nappy over the sore bits. Some people use vaseline on bums to block moisture. Metanium ointment is also very good. It is possible that it isn't nappy rash but thrush in which case see a doctor who will give you canesten. DS had it for months and we tried everything. The tea worked on moderate cases, the metanium in worse cases.

mmme don't think it's thrush...will get it checked though, will try the camomile and honey tea but even metanium doesn't stop it in its tracks....

I searched and searched this summer and couldn't find silver liners in the UK or the US - wholesale or retail Sad
I bought some silk liners but haven't used them as by the time they arrived there was an improvement.
DD2 was prescribed Timodene as the GP felt it did look like thrush. She got it when I used disposables and disposable wipes on holiday. All cleared up with the cream and going back to cloth and I now always use camomile tea as my wipe solution.
Nappy free time is good too if you can bear it.

Yes, well worth getting checked for thrush. I got some silver liners for DD after struggling with her nappy rash for ages, they didn't really help TBH. In the end she was diagnosed with thrush...

Silver liners are good but not a cure all, I hardly used mine in the end. By the time I had DS it was clear that if metanium (and cornstarch on any broken skin) doesn't sort it then it tends to need medical help.

we rarely used wet wipes on DS, as we prefered water and fleece wipes. we used to make the tea in a litre jug with three bags and let it stew till it was cold. Then we just replaced water with tea when changing. I know it seems counter intuitive to leave wet cotton balls in the nappy but nappy rash is mostly caused by poo, not wee. That's just a little fact that the makers of Pampers don't want you to know!

Probably this is way down the scale of effectiveness but as you mention camomile ... have you got Kamillosan cream? We found that soothed DS's rash a lot, and the texture was so emolient that it didn't hurt him to apply because it just slid on. I used to hate trying to put other creams on.

But you sound like a veteran of more rash than we dealt with so apologies if that is the equivalent of suggesting Sudocrem!
