DS is 2. I love him - some of the time. Some of the time I would honestly like to give him back. Is this normal?

God yes. Afraid you are entering/in the terrible twos. It happens.

Currently ds is being a lovely little darling. However, a week ago when he was having issues at school and thus being a psycho devil child at home. yep I did think what on earth have i done.

That said wouldnt be without him its the behaviour that i want shot of.

Yes, shrink them down and put them back in...

DS is 2.9 and is a bloody nightmare most of the time, I hate being a parent right now Sad

Well, we kept the receipt for dd (fertility treatment) but we have faced facts, we're probably way past the 30 day guarantee...

Dd was an amazing, non-sleeping baby Sad a delightful sweet non-stop chattering toddler and is now a lovely, clever, funny affectionate 4 and a half year old. I don't think I have ever wanted to give her back - although I have hidden myself in the loo for some breathing space from the incessant chatter and dancing around and I have considered running away and leaving her with dh for a week day. Blush Grin Perfectly normal though.

Every night at about 6:45 until I hear her snoring!!

I reason that she is the way we made her, very intelligent, very independent, very cute but also very intelligent, very independent and very cheeky! Grin

I have had that FUCK moment madamdeathstare usually once a day week! But I try to contain it into a pillow!

hodgepodge totally normal! Xmas Smile

Today I was seriously contemplating shoving them both back inside warts and all, never mind they're both enormous - I don't care ! They were being little terrors ! So nice to read this thread, makes me feel vindicated. I was ready to resign as a parent earlier today & this evening hasn't been much better Hmm

I didnt have the terrible twos on DS1, but now at 5 he's changed - most of the time I cant stand him and dread spending any time with him.

Snowed in yesterday so missed a day off school - nightmare!

DS2 (19m) is ok but he is really naughty and you cant take yr eyes off him for a second.

Both me and hubby sang "All I want for Christmas is a childfree one!!!!"

To be honest not enjoying them at all.

Don't worry, bacon. Not long before they are stroppy teenagers.Wink

Ah good to know it's not just me - I do love him VERY much when he's asleep - but he's been freakin' useless at that until the last couple of months (and even now doesn't go through every night.)

I have the FUCK moment at least once a day - sometimes a lot more! Have to say it's not helped by fact husband is away in the week and I've given up my full-time job to work from home and look after him... I think I'm just not a natural mother - doing long days at a high-pressure job was a doddle compared to the morning with him stretching endlessly before me!

Having said that he is currently being very cute and has just picked up a torch, some rice krispies and a small wooden mouse, waved at me and said 'Bye Bye Mum, going to shop to buy biscuit'...

Can't get dd1 (3) to nursery tomorrow. I may just have to lock myself outside in the snow.
