Disposables smelling of wee..

I am a reusable user mainly but DS has been going through a leaky overnight phase so have been using disposables overnight.

No leaks .. but he smells of wee within an hour of having it on.

Changed brand and have same problem.

Which disposables would avoid this problem?

(Oddly don't have this smell problem at all with the reusables BG, Rumperooz or Tots Bots but cant seem to boost enough for a long leak free night)

When I use a disposable I really notice the smell of them, I find it very strong. My reusables only smell after they have been in the bucket a while waiting to be washed (once the wee has gone stale I think, like sweat only really smells after its gone stale).

I've tried all sorts of disposables and I haven't found an that don't stink. Though maybe some eco disposables would be better because they have fewer chemicals in them?

We used eco-disposables (Nature Baby) last weekend when we went to visit the in-laws - they smell less manky than Pampers but they still pong a bit!

thought I had been imagining it

makes me change him as often as possible

suppose that means need to buy more than if they diddnt smell... Maybe a sales ploy!

Will pick up an Eco version to try next time

Bambo. Fab, no smell, VERY absorbent.

disposables have a horrible smell. i hate it. i constantly think ds needs changing. I'm back on reusables once this packet is done.
