Well i have had the fluffle for a couple of weeks now. its big, its bulky, its fluffy, but its synthetic and dries quickly. it is bulkier than a normal tots bots IMO, and despite what tos bots say, its still 'catches' your hands on the microfibre, i dont like the feel of it tbh. But its fluffy and soft and holds a lot of wee. It dries quickly, and looks lovely on. the fleece liner is nice and soft as well. the added booster would be great for heavy wetters, but i dont generally use it unless its for overnight. folding it down is easy to do, just like using a size 2 tots as a birth to potty.

I do prefer the bamboozle as its slimmer and holds almost as much, i hacve used the bamboozle overnight with no leaks as well.

so im best to stick with normal tots for bump then!

misdee · 27/09/2005 17:18

i would. unless you dont have a garden or tumble dryer and need something that dries quickly.

i havent tried it on dd3 when she is wearinf trousers but have a feeling they'd be even tighter than normal.

boots do nippas
or any online nappy place

misdee · 27/09/2005 17:22

john lewis sometimes have them. i get mine online when i order nappies. time2change.co.uk is good as they charge for theweight of items rather than set postage.

I'm sure I saw nappi nippa's in big boots the other day. I'm not sure about the fluffle either as I think normal tots are too bulky. Saying that think anything would look bulky on DD she is 14 mo and just into her winter clothes that are 9-12 months and they look huge on her.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 27/09/2005 17:23

thanks girls.... going into town on saturday so will pop to boots.

No John Lewis near me im afraid

Will look at T2C - need to order nappies at the end of oct anyway!

sweetkitty · 27/09/2005 17:24

JABM I have found tesco cherokee clothes are really good for cloth bums, DD has a pair of jeans from there and they have elastic on them so they adjust (like maternity jeans) the waistband. They are cheap and seem to wash well.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 27/09/2005 17:25

ive got a few pairs of jeans for her from Asda but they dont quite come up over the nappy and wrap!

will check out tescos at the weekend - thank you!!!

starlover · 27/09/2005 17:26

h&m trousers are also excellent. adjustaqble waitband and cut really high

sweetkitty · 27/09/2005 17:28

I've just moved and have no tesco near only asda's DD is in her 9-12 month tesco trousers/jeans rolled up twice at the legs bless her. I put her in a disposable last night and they fell down after she had been in washables all day. She's just meant to be little.

misdee · 27/09/2005 17:46

i have found sainsburys trousers good for cloth clad bums. and good value as well.

i just seem to find skirts/dresses and tights so much easier at the moment, but if this is a boy, i think he might object to wearing skirts!

misdee · 27/09/2005 19:28

oh i agree, dresses so much easier, but its abit nippy in the mornings during the school run, so even in a sleeping bag she has trousers on.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 27/09/2005 19:29

i just try not to go out too early!

misdee · 27/09/2005 19:33

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 27/09/2005 19:35

i know.... saying that.... it is getting nippy in the mornings i go to toddlers so i think its going to be cosy toes weather soon.....

misdee · 27/09/2005 19:36

i have given up with cosy toes, my kids always kicked them off, or they slipped down. so we have a travel sleeping bag, its fab!

ooooh.... something else for me to look at for the winter..... god im terrible!

munz · 28/09/2005 10:15

thanks misdee!

flamebat · 28/09/2005 10:19

How long does the bamboozle take to dry compared to the normal tots?

munz · 28/09/2005 10:22

ooooooh misdee - how old is ur DD? are the nappies bulkier cos they're the size 2's do u think? would u def need to go a size up in trousers for the fluffle? i've got the size 1 fluffles, and 2 bamboozles - so might well used bamboozle/dippy for outings where slimmer clothes are required and fluffles for indoors?

misdee · 28/09/2005 19:30

dd3 is a small 7month old (approx 15lbs in weight). bamboozle is slightly quicker than the regular tots, fluffle almost dry out of the washing machine.

i'd say go up a size in most cloth nappies, but def for the fluffle and white/unbleached tots. pastels and bamboozle are slimmer fit.

fluffle makes a very good overnight nappy for babies who sleep through.
