Teething nappies - the facts please?

I and many of the other Mums in my post-natal group have heard the phrase 'teething nappies', but what exactly are the facts? My 9-month old son is teething and he's had some awful yellowy/green and rather runny nappies. Are these normal 'teething nappies'?

The ones you have to watch out for are the "acid poos", DS got these with molars and they hurt if you don't get them off quickly - anyone else had those?

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 27/09/2005 08:26

yep vk - had those - blistering bum the works - not very nice.... luckily we have some strong nappy cream from the docs so we apply that overnight and she is usually fine in the morning - but god she screams when you try and clean her bum!

Oh God, I remember those, but I did find if I was getting those nappies I didn't get the crying as much, but then I may have been lucky.

When they do cry you can get these, they are great.
