And does she (he?) get London weighting?

In Wales the children in the class I support get between 1-3 pounds...

defineme · 03/12/2010 20:18

Can you go with 50p please-I always seem to be the meanest tooth fairy in town!

Aranea · 03/12/2010 20:28

3 pounds???? Good grief. I'm glad I asked. I was wondering whether it was still 20p for the front ones and £1 for the molars!

Any more opinions? I need to sort it out this evening...

Up here it is £1 for a tooth except the two top front ones which get £2 coin instead.

lunafire · 03/12/2010 21:01

£5 for the first and £1 each for all the others...although he did have to give £2 on one occasiona as he didn't have any change Grin

acebaby · 03/12/2010 21:01

£1 here - DS1 has just lost 3 in a week! My Dad (assuming the tooth fairy doesn't really exist) sent me £1 in the post when I had a wisdom tooth out a few years ago...

Aranea · 03/12/2010 21:07

How sweet of your dad, acebaby! (though surely you'd have a case for saying a wisdom tooth should be worth more?)

It's looking like £1 then. Though I'm wondering whether to give extra as it's her first.

£1 each here in London- zone 3 Grin

She's retired now as she got fed up of waiting. DS is 13 and still has 2 baby teeth left.

Seona1973 · 03/12/2010 21:14

£2 for first tooth and £1 for every other one

Goblinchild · 03/12/2010 21:15

£2 for molars, £1 for the rest.

madrush · 03/12/2010 21:21

£2 for first 4, intending £1 for rest
fairly std at my dd's school and some fairies are a lot more generous

SandStorm · 03/12/2010 21:27

£1 for all teeth - I'm in the south east.

SandStorm · 03/12/2010 21:28

Meaning £1 per tooth - not £1 for ALL her teeth.

Lilka · 03/12/2010 23:10

50p per tooth, no matter what kind it is!!

Aranea · 03/12/2010 23:51

Well, I've just been up with a little letter and a coin (£2, following some discussion and to-ing and fro-ing with DH) - only to find her lying awake in bed. AARGH. She said, 'Is there any of the night left? I'm worried that the tooth fairy won't come!'

Can I give her medised or knock her over the head with something heavy, do you think?

marriednotmulled · 04/12/2010 00:19

Tell her it's like Santa, won't come if she's awake!
