my dd is 20 weeks and i have just put her down for her nap. i came down stairs and as soon as my bum hit the sofa i had to go back up to get the monitor out of the bedroom.
( where it had been through the night)
it made me wonder.
for how long do people use their monitors for?
at the moment i cant see any time when i wouldnt want to use it.
i can see her being 8 or 9 and me still having it next to me at night.
just interested what the norm is for dropping this?
thanks,

Nik72 - don't worry that's what we do - except we don't have the monitor. Blearily (sp) open eyes, look at clock, close eyes, then decide whehter it's frantic crying or not, if it's not, "boom" straight back to sleep (and if it is upset lye there very still and quietly for 2-3 minutes waiting for DH to get up and sort )

Wot's CC?

Nik72 · 22/09/2005 10:53

CC is controlled crying.
My mum finds the whole monitor thing faintly amusing and loves to point out that me & my sisters survived a babyhood of being put to sleep on our fronts not to mention being weaned at 3 months!
