Good night time disposable nappy?

DS is 4 weeks old and wees so much at night! I try not to change him too much at night so he doesn't wake up too much but i've had so many leaky nappies! I've been using the sainsburys little eco ones which are fine during the day but I think I need something a bit more absorbant for night time. Can anyone recommend any? He's about 10lb and still in size 1's but I can't tell if he needs to go up a size either! First time mum- can you tell? lol!

We use disposables at night and have been impressed with Pampers Baby Dry (NOT the active Fit ones!), Tesco own brand are pretty good and we like Huggies too.

At 10lbs I would definitely be in size 2, on the Pampers Baby Dry size 2 is 6-13 lbs so he is already in the upper half of that range. The Pampers Baby Dry size 3 is 9-20lbs so he could even be not far off those. You'd probably see a big difference if you go up a size.
My cue to move up a size has always been their capacity rather than their fit IYSWIM.

Pampers baby dry and yes, you may well need a size 2 for night time.

When DS was that age we ended up changing him in the night anyway, as he'd tend to sleep longer if he went back down in a dry nappy..

If he does wake up a lot in the night when you're changing him, this kind of thing can make changing easier.

would second the advice of GoingToBonnieDoon, I did this with my DS, only I used Natures baby care disposables which I found very absorbent. Changed to using reusables full time now though.

yes go up a size. For DD1 I used Nature baby care at night and they were always fine.

don't use the huggies organic cotton ones, we have been using them as the sainsbury's one leak at night and they are worse. Use reuseables in the day and am contemplating using them at night as well if i can't get a disposable to go through the night
