Potty training and morning sickness!

Hello I am almost 8 weeks pregnant and my dd who is 2.5 is still in nappies and has shown no signs whatsoever to "go" anywhere else. Even when I say "all your friends are so big going to wee on the potty and they get to wear knickers" She will just say "i want to wee in my nappy!".
She will not sit on a potty and they do look rather uncomfy so i got her a lovely padded seat for the the loo and a step. she loves to sit on it and does for a few times a day for the last few weeks before nothing ever happens - not even a drop!
what am i doing wrong, i have to say at the moment i know i am not putting enough energy in, only because I am too tired but i feel i should be doing more, just dont know what, i cant bribe her as bribes so not work at the moment, she is going through her stubborn stage and wants to do the total opposite of what i want.

You're not doing any thing wrong. Perhaps she hasn't got the physical knack of voluntarily "letting go" yet. tbh it doesn't sound as if she is quite ready so keep it low key (ie. play along if she wants to sit) and have another go when you have a bit more energy in a month or two. Sticker charts did overcome some of my dd's stubborness.

the average age for toilet training is 2 yrs 8 mths, so there is no hurry, she is maybe just not ready yet.

forget about it for a while, 2-4 weeks i say

Thank you - made me feel better.

I have never compared my child to others before, but just recently noticed that all her friends are using the potty and most are younger than her.

but i know they are all different and to be honest I am glad to wait a few weeks as I hope to feel better - fingers crossed!
