DD1 was in cloth and i never had any problems with leaking at all. I could put her in a bumgenius for night time right up until she was 3 and still wouldnt leak. DD2 ....different story!

DD2 has had bedbugs since she was about 6 weeks as nothing else would last the night even when she was a newborn i used 2 muslins and a booster. She has grown out of her medium bedbugs now so i started using large terries which have been fab. About a week ago she started leaking again. Ive tried stripping the nappies etc but she just wees so much!!

I cant afford new bedbugs really as they are expensive. Anyone have anyother ideas? Im using motherease wraps.

Would you be prepared to use second hand? Gumtree and the like often have hardly used packs for a massive discount??

I use Motherease one size and my dd went thru a phase of leaking for a while and doesn't any more...

Oh yer most of our nappies are second hand lol so im not bothered about that. Second hand bedbugs are still between £10 and £15 though which is a bit more than the budget can stretch to, thats all she seems to be able to use at the min Confused

how about ellas house bumhuggers? They're £10 new but cheaper second hand.

Have you tried doubling up the terries? Just lay one on top of the other and fold as normal so it is double thickness. Looks a bit daft though Grin

My friend really like Ella's house Bumhuggers. I've not tried them but I'm using old style totsbots bamboozle with an extra bamboo booster and motherease rikki wrap and that is working really well for my heavy wetter at night. The new style bamboozle stretchy is also very good but you don't see so many of them second hand as they haven't been around so long. Old style bamboozles are under a tenner though second hand. Even new ones are under a tenner on Babykind in the bargain section. They have some Huggles by Minki listed too which they recommend for heavy wetters at night but I've never tried them so can't really comment again in the bargain section.
