Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

So when are you going to have another one then?

JoolsToo · 13/09/2005 15:26

get a job at a nursery

Lua · 13/09/2005 15:29

I agree with you nailpolish. Just getting rid of all the baby stuff in the house.
But then I look at my sweet 3 month old DS and tought:
Have you ever been a timy little thing?

so.. even I had another one, I might not have atiny little baby! LOL!
Also, its great to get space in the attic!

Sounds to me like you may be needing some of those clothes back nailpolish. I gave away my baby stuff three times over. Soon to be four.

motherpeculiar · 13/09/2005 15:38

go on have another, you know you want to.

spidermama

my DH won't hear of another, says he'll get a one-way ticket to venezuala if there is even a hint of it. I have been broody as hell ever since DD2 was born as a result of thinking she is the last. it'd be all his fault

dinosaur · 13/09/2005 15:41

Better have another one nailpolish .

Having a third one has cured me of being broody, anyway.

nailpolish · 13/09/2005 15:52

lol! spidermama

i told her to 'look after it' and she gave me a knowing look

dh says 'no way no way no way'

we have just bought a house and i see dd1 and dd2 in their little bedroom each, they would have to share, i cant cope very well sometimes with the 2 of them, 4 seems a nice no. to sit round the table at tea-times (etc etc etc)

dh's favourite thing just now is daydreaming about things we have put on hold, like holidays abroad, til dd2 is a little older.....it just seems like it would be a step back

oh lord....

im so glad you all posted, i regretted saying what i said in case someone came along and called me an ungrateful b*tch

we were the 1st to have a baby out of all our friends, so they all have smaller babies than me, kind of in a way

so when i go to their house i just cuddle their babies

not quite the same

im twittering now....shut up np

nailpolish enjoy cuddling your friend's babies and making a fuss and the fact that you can give them back!!! I too have finished my family (my last being 2 next week) but have a very good friend with a 12 week old. I kidnap her and breathe in that beautiful baby smell and as soon as she cries/poos etc etc I hand her back with a smile!!!

eidsvold · 14/09/2005 06:33

I can see how you feel - I keep looking at the tiny baby clothes that I have packed away now that dd2 is 10 months old and I feel sad as there are no more little eidsvold's according to dh - we don't do sleep deprivation well and so having another one is not even remotely an option...... still I will just enjoy friends' little ones and inhale that baby smell.
