Do you sterilise anything after 1 year?

Hi all,

DD is coming up for one year. She normally takes her milk from a cup with a spout but has a bottle at night or if she is feeling fragile during the day (currently teething). She has a dummy for day time naps.

DD is PFB, but I also have no experience of children.

At 1 year is it ok for the steraliser to be packed away, and the above to just go through the dishwasher, or should the above items still be steralised occasionally? She'll be moved onto cows milk if that makes any difference.

Many thanks

Katy

I didn't sterilise anything past about 4 months, and that was with my PFB as well.

Next one will probably just eat out of the dog bowl Grin

DD has an excellent immune system however Grin

Bin the steriliser. Absolutely no need to sterilise after a year.

No need to sterilise at all, many would say!
But definitely a dishwasher is fine after a few months old.

My DD has just turned one, and I binned the steriliser with great joy.
