best reusable nappies?

Hi

I am due in December and want to use reuseable nappies where possible - any hints on ones you have found to be good or bad? I'm prefering the one size fits all type of option at the moment as I think it would be less expensive. I'd also prefer throw away liners.

Would be realy helpful to hear others thoughts.
thx

We use TotsBots Flexitots.

Upside - very easy to use, very absorbent, two sizes (though they now do a birth-to-potty size as well), made of bamboo not cotton (hence absorbency). Wash easily, no need for soaking, use a throwaway liner (Boots' own brand).

Downside, the shaped ones take longer to dry than the flat ones.

I love 'em!

Flip Bum Genius are ace. Never had a leak. Used from birth until now (16mo) and look like they'll last until potty training (unlike the Pop-ins I bought, which very slim DS outgrew by 12mo). Quick to dry. Very easy to use. You can re-use the outers 2-3 times before washing. I bought 12 outers and 20 inserts, which worked really well for us.

We've got on really well with Bambino Mio, but started with Onelife and hated them, as did a friend of mine. The "one size fits all" approach seems good but even when fully folded down they were ridiculously bulky on my newborn DD. Also Onelife were all towelling so everything got wet rather than just the bit between the legs.
Now on our 2nd size of Bambinos and got this pack on E-bay for £8 so avoided the excessive cost of different sizes.

Using motherease birth to potty with airflow wraps on ds1 they are fab for toddlers. Didn't like the throw away liners so just cut up an old fleece blanket which contains the poo and wicks moisture away so keeps the bum dry.

For my newborn we started off using muslins with microfibre cloth inserts that I cut up myself, fastened with a nappi nippa and covered again with motherease airflow wrap.

Now he's slightly bigger I'm using a mixture of the motherease (as above) and tots bots all in one birth to potty but my favourite for him and first choice out of the drawer is tots bots stretchy bamboozles size one with motherease wrap. They are just so gorgeously soft and silky and fit really well.

Some birth to potty nappies aren't really suitable from birth so a few of the sized nappies might be a good idea for the first couple of weeks unless you use muslins like I did.
