After a reading a thread before, I have to ask...

How much does your tooth fairy bring per tooth?

£1

Willow2 · 09/09/2005 20:26

£2 for the first tooth - £1 after that.

Quid, assuming the tooth is in good enough nick to contribute to a fairy staircase in the dell.

£1

however I haven't received any money from her for a long time (it's not as if I have lost a tooth or two sob!)

Dd is scared of the idea of the tooth fairy so she won't leave them out to be collected, therefore nothing!

fqueenzebra · 09/09/2005 21:31

Our tooth fairy gives toys instead of money; I think DS1 would rather have toys than money, anyway.

charliecat · 09/09/2005 21:32

a quid

charliecat · 09/09/2005 21:33

but sometimes TF takes a few nights to come and then she leaves a swirly written note signed TF giving fantastic excuses such as they use teeth for bricks in tooth fairy land and last week they had enough

DD1 hasn't lost any teeth yet but I have a fab plan.

I'm gonner buy her a small pearl for each tooth and when she's 'collected' them all from the tooth fairy we'll get them made into a bracelet.

Feeling very smug about this.

We are just back from Majorca and DS1 lost a tooth there - he doesn't believe in the toothfairy - like he does.

Anyway in Majorca they have the Tooth Mouse and the mouse leaves a present under their pillow. Much to his surprise he got a present and money from both the Mouse and the Fairy and wondered how it happened.

same as Willow2 here, £2 for the first one and £1 for every tooth after that.

anniebear · 10/09/2005 08:55

Thats a lovely idea passionflower

Blimey - it's hard enough sticking a quid under a pillow without DS waking up - don't think I'd get away with an actual toy!

Tinker · 10/09/2005 18:10

£1 for the first one, a silver coin after that But I'm tight.

WideWebWitch · 10/09/2005 18:13

I'm even tighter, we don't have the tooth fairy.

My DD got £2 because she said her friend across the road and her cousin got that. I wanted to just give her a pound but DP insisted that she have £2 if other kids were getting that!!!!

I used to get 20p and thought it was brill. Mind you that was the 1970's and I came from a one parent family.
