Anybody else studying at Warwick?

Enrolled tonight on my part time degree course at Warwick, studying Health and Social Policy. I am so excited, I can't wait! Grin

I know there is a chat thread and will head over there in a bit but it seemed to be pretty established so I thought I'd intro myself here generally first.

Any tips? What do I need to sort myself out with before I arrive? Been out of education for 4 years so as far as I've got is lined paper, biros, bus pass, spare lighters (for making friends with smokers Wink). Surely there is more to it than that?

Congrats! I studied at Warwick (graduated 6 yrs ago) and loved it. Library is well equipped so you may be able to borrow textbooks rather than shelling out - I learned the hard way - bought so many books which I only referred to once or twice on my course! Get involved with some of the socs if you have any spare time - that's my biggest regret - I love musical theatre but didn't join MusicTheatreWarwick because I was shy (despite not being remotely shy on stage). Sigh.

I'm sure you'll have a great time. I wish I was still at uni!

You'll love it, even though everyone else looks about 12 Grin . The most useful thing you can buy yourself is a netbook (there are wireless hotspots all over the place, and you won't have to queue for a computer.

I'm at studying at Warwick, if you want any more info either post here or PM me :)
