HELP jet lag is really bad - how can I get her to sleep?

10 month old waking at the same time every night since we got back from Canada, awake for 3 hours from 11.30 pm onwards, I don't know how to break the cycle? I have been feeding her cereal and milk to help get her back to sleep and now she isn't hungry in the morning, I can't seem to get enough food in her during the day.

Any suggestions

mine both had a bit of jet lag when they came back from San Fran this year. I made sure they got loads of fresh air & daylight during the day. How about changing her naps slightly during the day & letting her sleep longer & putting her down a bit later in the evening. Also maybe cut down to just milk to get her back to sleep. The more you give her at night the less she'll want during the day.
It will right itself, but you may have to get a bit tough and let her grizzle for a bit during the night otherwise she'll get into a habit of waking up and expecting to be feed at that time.
Good luck

thanks Bugsy it's nice to get some reassurance when you feel like you are living in the twilight zone! I will try your suggestions.

we have taken about a week to get back to normal-it's best to stick with normal mealtimes and nap times as much as possible durng the day- and to get more activity into the day. It's very hard but don't let her sleep in in the morning even after a bad night, open curtains, put on radio, bustle about-the quickest way to get back on track. It's been more grim for the adults!
