We use ImseVimse contour nappies with their cotton wraps on top during the day and currently use Moltex disposables at night (and when out and about). I'm wondering if I could use something else at night that woule be reusable.
What do others do at night?
And while I'm here, what do you do while out and about?

Should probably say, 1 Moltex does the whole night and I'll not be interested in something that doesn't!

I use bamboozle stretchies with a fleece soaker/shorties. I sometimes add a booster if he's going to bed earlier than usual (I use a terry/fleece washable wipe to boost). Easily lasts the whole night on my 5 mo super-weer!

I use close pop in's with night booster and Issy bears with night booster (comes as standard)...
Not sure what you mean-what do you do while out and about?
We use cloth full time, when out use a monkey foot bag with drop of tea tree in, to store dirty nappies then throw all in nappy bin (inc bag) when home.

I used to use 2 of the Imse contour nappies together, one inside the other, and an Imse wool wrap over the top - they are really nice and being breathable are excellent for overnight. Never had a leak. You might have to go up a size for the wool wrap compared to the cotton ones you're currently using, but I think this would be your easiest/cheapest option too.

Ariela · 30/09/2010 11:11

ps for out and about I used to use a PUL wrap, as they're a bit easier to leave on longer than the organic cotton wraps. The Imse Soft wrap would be ideal, and as wellbalanced says, pop it in a bag and bring it home.

I have quite a heavy wetter but have found success with either a motherease nappy or totsbots stretchie boosted with a bumgenius flip insert and a fleece liner covered with either a totsbots or motherease airflow wrap. No leaks but DS is very damp in the morning though.

I use pocket nappies in the day and store in an itti wetbag when dirty. I also really like flips for out and about as I can just change the insert if wet.

I don't know if ds is a heavy wetter or not (what's the criteria?), but we use a totsbots bamboozle plus a fleece-lined bamboo booster, with a totsbots fleece wrap. Had a few leaks when dh put the wrap on too loosly, but now we've got the hang of it. When he outgrows the fleece wrap I'm going to get some fleece shorties.

Blimey.. am inspired. I thought I was doing well but it seems I can do better. Am going on search of these bags you mention now and as we are trying to save some money at the mo, I'll go with Ariela's suggestion and try 2 with a wool wrap.
Might be too bulky though.. can imagine bottom being pushed up!

Only Bedbugs work for my heavy wetter on a night, she piddles through everything else. I find a motherease wrap works best with these. Yes they take a while to dry but its worth it.

For out and about i have a monkeyfoot wetbag and its fab. I tend to use my bumgenius pockets when out as they are super quick to put on if we in a hurry.

i have found the only one that works for us is a minki huggle with a tots bots booster and a 29p towel from ikea folded as another booster and a minki fleece wrap to work! i was having to wash ever day previously but think i've finally cracked it. Grin and that lasts at least 12 hours sometimes 14!
