Angelcare vs Tommee Tippee

Does anyone have experience of both and know which one is less likely to stink in the long term?

I've had a Tommee Tippee one since dd was born (22 months ago) and it's been pretty stinky for the past 6 months or so despite frequent bleach application.

I've got another baby on the way and am thinking of investing in a nice, fresh, new bin for the new baby (probably the only new thing it'll get - ha ha!), but wondering if anyone could advise on whether the Angelcare is any better?

Alternatively if someone has a fantastic guaranteed stink-removal idea for the current bin that'd be great!

P.S. Yes I'm too lazy to take every dirty nappy to the main bin outside the house immediately

To be honest....They all stink haha!

Ive used washable nappies for my girls but used disposables for my son, I had a tomee tipee one but i used angelcare where i worked at nursery.

Best thing i found was to use a bucket with a lockable lid, line with a fragranced bin liner so its easy to empty. Before you put the liner in sprinkle with a few drops of tea tree oil. This seems to keep whiffs at bay, just wash bucket every week or if it becomes smelly.

Good luck with new baby!

Thanks, Peachybums!

Had the bin soaking in bleach for 24 hours now so hoping that will do the trick (for the time being at least).

I like the idea about tea tree oil. Will pick some up.

They are all vile and bloody useless!

We change nappies upstairs - I wrap them tightly and seal with sticky strips, chuck them downstairs and then stick 'em in the bin.
