OK nappy experts, what nappies to buy- slim, but going to last to potty training...

With DD1 I had TotsBots Fluffles and Motherease airflow wraps. Loved them as size ones so went and bought some size twos. Also have 2 cotton totsbots and 2 diddy diaper microfibrey ones in size 2. Never really got on with them in the same way as I had with the lovely size ones. They began to smell (despite stripping) and were just SO massive that I struggled to get any trousers to fit her- not a problem when she was 9-18m old but by the time she was 2, I couldn't just go up a size as all the trousers are designed for them to be potty trained by age 3. DD1 also started being a complete pain to do changes in, and I was pregnant, and well.... I stopped.

I would like to try harder with DD2. We have used the Fluffles again in combination with a couple of Close Parent Pop In nappies (both Dreami Dri and the Bamboo). Really like the Pop in Bamboo version (not keen on the Dreami dri- leaks unless changed within 2 hours). But I did once try a Pop in on my DD1 when I was caught out without a pull up for her and it really only just fit. DD2 is considerably bigger than her sister currently (9m).

Whilst it seems indulgent to buy new nappies for DD2, I would like to try and keep her mainly in cloth until potty training if possible so am wondering if I should buy some new nappies? I like the absorbancy for slimness factor of bamboo. So can anyone recommend a SLIM, absorbant nappy that will last until she is potty trained (DD1 did this at 2.5)?
I do love the convenience of the AIO, although have found some cheap LittleLambs bamboo (are these slim?)- and I do have the motherease wraps. Don't want to spend £££- would probably look to getting 3 or 4 more.

Thanks for getting this far, and for your words of wisdom!

The Easyfit version 2 are fabulous. Although not cheap but I think they are worth it, they are slim and absorbent, can be boosted if necessary and are large enough to fit my 3 and a half year old who is about 36lb.

Oh and you can get them from tots seconds ebay site cheaper aswell here

I have ittis, and love them. Haven't tried the new Itti Tutto, but might be worth picking up one to try.

If you have the Motherease wraps, then the Bamboozle Stretch from Tots Bots is lovely to go under them - nice and slim fitting, not bulky, very good absorbency, not bad on drying, lovely and soft too.
