I have recently moved in with my boyfriend so am no longer living at home. Now I will have bills to pay etc. Does anyone think I could be entitled to more bursary money? Thanks

If you are doing a diploma then the bursary is a set amount unless you are a mature student or have dependants and then you get a bit extra.

If you are doing a degree then it's means tested but I don't know how you'd go about seeing if you were entitled to more.

you should get a leaflet with your bursary application pack...look it out

this has allsorts of 'scenarios' given as examples with an estimate of the amount you are likely to receive in each case.

if you claim to be living independent of your folks and your partner[ie single] then you are likely to get more than living at home.hth x
