Hi,

I'm due in December with my first, am hoping to use reusable nappies. DP is amenable as long as we can use disposables for the first 6 weeks, which I'm fine with.

I've been given a few nappies/wraps, and bought a couple, and I'm wondering what else to get. At the moment I have:

Motherease one size all-in-ones x4
Bumpy Night nappy, large, x 1
Kushies, large, x 1
Kushies, (10-22lb) x 3

Popolino Airflow wrap, small x 1
Popolino Popowrap, large x 1
Junior Joy, regular (16-21lbs) x 12

Various boosters - fleece/terry x 8, plus a large hemp kind of...sheet? About the size of a terry nappy. I am not sure if this is for using for a booster or not. And also 1 Stuffins in large.

I know the Motherease are too big for a little one so I'm looking to buy some small resuables for the inbetween stage but I'm not sure how many or what! Like the look of Totbots - would this be good?

The lady who gave me all the Junior Joy wraps used terry nappies - is that all they are good for or could they be used with a two part nappy?

I'm feeling a bit lost and it's a bit of a mixed bag so any guidance would be massively appreciated!

I started with 20 Motherease all-in-one nappies and cloth liners, 4 small wraps and
a couple of rolls of flushable liners.

Also, a nappy bucket. Bought it online, can't remember where though.

They were fine on my DS from birth but I couldn't use them for ages with DD as she was so little (tall but skinny).

I can't comment on any other make but Motherease have worked perfectly for me. I got the white ones though, not the bamboo ones as I don't have a tumble dryer and the bamboo nappies take ages to dry.

Hope this helps and good luck.

I've got for my toddler and soon to be newborn 20 motherease one size with 4 motherease airflow wraps in large and 4 airflow wraps in small. 2 tots bots fleece wraps in large and 2 in small.

2 tots bots all in one rainbow's and 5 tots bots all in one's brights. The motherease are great but 2nd best is the tots bots brights. They are much softer than the rainbow one's.

I got a huge fleece blanket which has been cut up for liners and a pack of paper liners for out and about.

For the newborn (until he goes into the others) I will be using muslins with microfibre cloths as boosters (tesco pack of 3 for 90p I got 9 boosters out of them) nappi nippa's and the small wraps.

A large ish bucket with twist and lock lid and mesh laundry bag.

I also use reusable wipes. We actually have the cheeky wipes kit but it was bought for me otherwise I would have just cut up cheap flannels.

I started off with tots bots bamboozles and nature baies wraps for night time and a mixture of bumgenius V3 and blueberry OS through the day. When DD2 got a little bigger (about 8 wks) she was wetting through the tots bots so i invested in some bedbugs (which are fab but take ages to dry) sometimes we use terries and a wrap. Through the day now shes 4 mths my faves are still Peachy pockets (made by myself lol), bumgenius closely followed by wee notions all in two. I wash about 14-16 nappies every 2 days.

I hate a lockable bucket to keep DD1s little fingers out lol, we also use reusable wipes. We use a Peachy wipes kit (of course Grin).
