HELP! Newborn night nappies - pee everywhere

After yet another night going from dry to wet through to the mattress and all over baby within 4 hours, I'm getting desperate.

Can I please have your top recommendations for reuseable night nappies? I've tried the search function but the astounding variety of choice has left me more confused than ever.

THANKS!!!

Bump! My baby isn't due until January next year but I've been researching nappies. Lots of people seem to recommend itti bitti fitted nappies with a fleece wrap to stop pee and poo explosions.

You could also try the essential baby site 'nappies' section, I've found posters on there a lot more helpful. Sorry peeps!

I've found the Bamboozle stretchies very good on my dd, last a good 11 hours with still some absorbency left. She's 4.5 months now, although not a heavy wetter as far as I know (first baby, so no comparison). I use a Bummis wrap, but this does get a bit damp round the binding, so prob better wraps out there. They're a lovely slim fit too. I use a fleece liner to keep her bottom dry.

I find using an adequate prefold inside either a prowrap or a Naturebabies Stuffable works well, adding boosters may also help.

if you go for a twoparter you can't beat Motherease wraps for general day and nigth use - have never dared try fleece myself...

Thanks for your responses -- I'll try some.

I use Bamboozles + booster with a pair of fleece shorties. My son (14 weeks) is a heavy wetter but this lasts him all night.

One final suggestion - I've just had some great advice from www.thenappylady.co.uk and would highly recommend her!
