DS1 - Just potty trained, so need to carry portable potty, change of clothes, drink, snacks etc.

DS2 - 5 months so need: Changing mat, change of clothes - food, formula, water etc. (He has reflux and weaned early due to this, so eats a LOT, throws up constantly etc, so have to carry lots of stuff).

I currently carry my old changing bag, from when i had DS1, PLUS, the changing bag, the food back, the portable potty bag - its insane.

So if anyone can recommend a really big - vaguely nice BIG bag/changing bag - its my birthday soon, so I can get it for that. (I know, I am also getting kitchen stuff, its a really sad life)

I recommedn jujube bags. They are very expensive ( I got mine for my birthday a few years ago - my friends split it between them) but I've used it ever since

I personally have the packabe because it can be a rucksack and I find that easier to lug about with two of them ( 8 months and 3 and a half) although in hindsight I'd get the berightback as its a bit bigger for when you have two! Also because the strap on the packabe is a bit awkward - its meant to be versatile but whilst I've never had a big issue with it I probably wouldnt get the same one this time.

It seems quite difficult to find stockist in the uk at the mo (wasnt when I got mine two years ago) but they do them on Amazon. and here

skip hop duo double. I defy you to fill it up Grin! I got one 2 years ago and used it for my semi-continent 3 year old (2 changes of clothes needed at all times) and my 3 month old baby (in bulky cloth nappies). On days out, I also put a change of clothes in for myself, lunch for DS1 and me, and my own paraphrenalia.

It weighed a ton, but it was great to have everything in one bag that I could sling over the buggy (I didn't have a double buggy btw - it fitted fine on my Jane 4 wheel carrera)

It was very expensive, but worth it in my opinion.

Riven

You make a very good point, but - its for my birthday and I will be buying it second hand (ebay or something), so was looking to see if there was a really nice bag that would do all of that, that I could find.

Hi - the mothership is enourmous, has changing mat and insulated bottle holder and is waterproof and washable vi have a cream one if you are interested in 2nd hand!

No no no. Birthday?!
Riven's right about the rucksack - and partners are happier to carry them too (My DH does get peed off when he inevitably ends up carrying my cath kidston bag at some point during a day out).

But, if a changing bag is what you really want for your birthday...
(to me that's like getting an ironing board or something though).
