Bought a pram from M&P on Mon and they built it for me and i wheeled out of door 100 metres or so to car.

Stupidly as they said i cant bring back under 30 day policy as been used (i had no other way of getting it to car-on own with baby, bags etc never offered help)

Never used it outside but my ds HATES it will not be strapped into it.

Have reciept and nothing on says cant return but dont have box- Do you always keep box? I would of prob thrown anyway i think...

Should i try to return to a diff store??

Thanks

Its just a holiday pram, i dont want to spend 2 weeks battling with him when we are at the other side of the world and i NEED him so sleep in it. The bribes would work for that short space then he'll kick off.

M and P are absolute buggers for cust services; I know of several people who have had issues them.

A friend of mine was made redundant from her job at their head office she was on mat leave. good luck X

M&P's customer sevice is one of the worst i have ever come across

even when prams are obviously extreamly faulty people ive known have had to have HUGE battles to get their money back Angry

you have no right to return a product just because you have changed your mind, so given how they wont refund people who do have a legal right to their money back i relaly wouldnt expect it

also at 16m id just persever with it...
your mummy, YOU are the boss (not your toddler) and im sure he will very soon get used to being put in the buggy, when he realises that having a strop does NOT = getting own way

Nannyl-Like ive said before its a holiday buggy, im not battling with my child for two weeks just to get him in the buggy. You obviously have different ways of bringing up your children then i do.
I wont use the buggy at home, i don't like buggies for babies and have two decent prams.

My point is you have 30days to return the product whatever the reason. I didnt suggest not taking the box-they did as i had hands full and buggy has carry strap-box doesn't.

The way I see it you've got nothing to loose by trying to return it. Either they will refund you or they won't. Just be prepared that they don't have to refund you - and that M&P are shit when it come to customer service. But you may have a decent sales assistant.

It's worth a try. I would take it back to the store you bought it from though and say why you don't have a box. I'm sure someone will remember you, as I'd have thought it quite rare for them to unbox stuff for customers.
