and lots of the pre packed pizzas are (or at least used to be) made in Bedford just with different lables.

There is a difference in the ones I have used. I did think "they must be all the same" but they are not.

Some must be, admittedly, but not all. Pampers don't make nappies for Huggies do they?

blimey, I must be typing slowly....

Was going to say that morrisons and Tescos were a world apart QoQ

I'd like to give cloth a try, but with one tiny washing machine for all four of us, no dryer, no washing line or access to one (our 'communal' garden is a car park), and three jobs between us, don't think it's a feasible option.

cotton bottoms may be an option for you (not fab?) or a nappy laundry service. enquire with local council to see if they offer any incentives. here you can claim £40 back on the purchase of nappies, or have a months free laundry service.

I'll have to check how much a service costs against Tesco's own. Cuz we are skint.

SleepySuzy · 24/08/2005 23:44

Gonna be selling my cotton bottoms

I used to get mildly excited when I tried a new shop's own brand, but found they were all pretty much the same. Pampers and Huggies were total waste of money as they were no better or worse than Tesco and Asda own. Found the value brands were crap but they did when I couldn't afford anything else.

Reusable nappies are far more exciting. Trying a new nappy was almost like getting new clothes. Am quite sad now that ds2 is out of nappies as I've not got an excuse to trawl websites for new wraps, stuffables or bargain tots bots (sniff). Will have to persuade dp to help me produce yet more offspring!!!
