stopping toddler playing with plug switches

ds is now obsessed with switching on/ off the switches on our plugs.
we move him, tell him 'not safe', etc but can't think how to stop him anymore than we are.

does such a product exist that you can put over the socket to stop him flicking the switches?

(aswell as not being safe it's very annoying when it keeps making the sky box crash!)

I would tell him no everytime he comes near it and take him away and give him a toy. he will get the message eventually.

we're doing that but it is not working so feel we need to just prevent the problem.

he's in a phase where forbidden things, grown up things, buttons and switches are all amazing!

We got some of those covers Seona1973 links to. Fine initially but they soon get loose and nearly 4 year old DD is perfectly capable of opening them (to put TV on!). The clippy bits on the side came off one or two too.

I have considered taking the fuse out of the plug for the TV! However, this might also cause problems for your Sky box.

A friend of mine wisely said that little boys grow into men who still enjoy sticking things into other things ... this may not help but might raise a smile.

thanks bluechampagne!

That's the sort of thing I was thinking of. Might order one as ds is only 15mo we might get long enough out of it for him to grow up a bit so we can teach what is/ isn't allowed!
