YG sorry no great ideas here, just wanted to offer support and sympathy. Have not had this problem tho we have had probs with excema which wouldn't go away.
Found that different things worked on different children and at differnet times (helpful huh?).
dd has had the most difficult skin, aloe vera didn't help her but I do know people who it did help. Aveeno cream is fab as well for lots of things and very mild (as comp to things like fucidin) so it can do no harm. I always get it on prescrip as it is quite dear.

My ds gets this, very sore red and sometimes bleeds, I found the best thing was metanium cream and canestan.

It was also this very sore bum that started my ds's problem with holding in his poo's, because he started to associate the pain with going for a poo and having to have his bum wiped, which was very sore for him even tho i only used cotton wool and water, If your little one is crying when she is having a poo now, she could be making this association as well.
