My kids don't have to have uniform with the logog on, they can just have plain royal blue jumpers or cardigans etc.

So if you have the choice too or not, do you ??

Ds1 and ds2 schools both insist on logo jumpers. But everything else you can buy plain if you want. The first term ds1 went to school i bought polo shirts with logo. Never again when i can get them so cheap in Adams and they are a better quality IMO. The colour is yellow and the school logo ones faded really fast. The Adams ones keep their colour.

DS1 wears navy and I buy him the logo ones because I think they look smart. However it takes at least half a term bfore the fluff stops going onto his shirts. Ds2 wears red and I don't like the shade of red the school uses - tends not to keep its colour so I buy normal red sweatshirts from Asda.

I buy M & S coz the uniform lasts, and then buy just the logo'd jumper for the top layer. Might buy the coats this year, but only because it stops fighting over all the options available.

I've got ds 2 jumpers with the school logo on, but they were only £8 each, so wasn't too expensive. Have got plain polo shirts to go underneath at £2 each from M&S!

they prfer them to wear logoed uniform and i do think that it looks smarter when they are all in agroup wearing the same uniform.

but purely because it was so expensive i brought logoed jumpers but not the poloshirts as they were more than the jumpers so he just wears a plain white polo shirt and grey trousers with his navy logoed jumper and they have logoed fleeces for outdoor play as well, which i prefer as he had ruined far too many expensive coats and the fleeces are actually quite cheap

I found the school polo shirts were rubbish and went all pooky very quickly so I buy cheap packs of polo shirts (poundstrechers) are suprisingly good and have always bought DS two logo jumpers and DD gets DS's old ones.

This year I bought a couple of plain jumpers from asda as they were £2.25. MIL got two gingham summer dresses for £2.50.

The logoed stuff is compulsory at dd's nursery and school but the school do run a swap shop.
