Just wondering? Perhaps you know people who are MNer's but don't know what their posting name is. Or if someone adds in a Member Profile that comes from around your area have any of you realised that you know that person in RL?

If so, have you told them???

Lonleymum - I know what you mean. A few times Ive launched into a story about something and then remembered that its from on here and I dont really want everyone to know so I cut it short quickly and change the subject.

Theres a friend of a friend who I did this with and she started eyeing me very suspiciously. I do think that she may be on my case!

i know oatcake i go to uni with her!

Also, I now have loads of anecdotal stories to tell which I have read on Mumsnet, and I have to cut them short because the people I am talking to might say "Who told you that?" and I don't like to admit it was read on an internet chatroom!

I know jamboure,she lives a few streets away,used to live closer!! Found her on here when she mentioned her kids and i thought 'i know someone who sounds very very like you'CAT her and found she was who i thought she was LOL.
